Take One Conversation Home Tonight
Owning your AI memory starts with a single file. Export one conversation with LTF Builder and keep it in LocalThink for macOS — in about five minutes.

You don't need a system. You need one file.
Pick a conversation that matters — the one you'd miss if it disappeared tomorrow. Tonight, take it home.
Step 1: Install LTF Builder
Install LTF Builder from the Chrome Web Store. It's free, and there's no signup.
LTF Builder saves conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok as .ltf.md files — plain Markdown with structured metadata, in the open LocalThink Format.
Step 2: Capture the conversation
Open the conversation in your browser. Click the LTF Builder icon, then Capture. Review the preview, then download.
What you get is a file: your conversation with human and AI turns, code blocks, tables, links, and metadata like title and date. Open it in any text editor. It will still open in fifty years.
Nothing is uploaded anywhere. The conversion happens in your browser, on your machine.
Step 3: Keep it where you can use it
Open the file in LocalThink for macOS. Now it's searchable, organized into your own library, and ready to continue — on your computer, under your control.
The workflow is simple: Save with LTF Builder, Organize in LocalThink, Continue when you're ready.
One file is the whole point
You don't have to export everything tonight. One conversation is enough to prove the idea: your thinking can live outside the chat box, in a file you own.
Start with the one you'd miss most.
Tomorrow, take another.
